- What exactly is the Poderation App?
The Poderation app is a web and mobile podcast player designed to bring you the best in nerdy podcasting without shoving ads in your face constantly.
- What sort of shows will I be able to listen to on the Poderation App?
Nerdy ones – of all forms of nerdiness! We’ll be offering shows talking everything from TTRPGs to sewing bees, sports analytics to in-depth magic tricks, both from our Poderation network stable and beyond.
- Can I use the Poderation App without a subscription?
No – your subscription is what allows us to keep the App going without any advertisements, and directly supports the podcast hosts and creators on the App through our profit-sharing system.
- How much will a Poderation subscription cost?
At launch, a Poderation subscription will cost $4 USD a month, or your local equivalent, with the option to subscribe annually for $40 (so you get two months free with an annual subscription). As the app grows and we add more features, we may change that a little bit later down the line, but we’re committed to making sure that a Poderation subscription remains cheap and affordable for all!
- How much of my subscription will go to content creators?
On average, about half of your subscription (as costs are always changing, we can’t give a precise number, sorry!) will be shared with the content creators you listen to through our profit-sharing agreement with creators on the App. If you subscribed to Poderation using a particular creator’s referral code or link, than that creator will also receive part of your subscription directly before the profit-sharing kicks in!
- What does “No Ads” really mean?
No Ads means, well, no advertising. No pre-roll interruptions blunting your hype for the next episode, no sudden jumps from gripping narrative to someone trying to sell you a new car, no “this episode brought to you by*” – just pure, uninterrupted content for your listening pleasure.
*We’ll try and make sure that you don’t hear any advertising content on the app, but occasionally a “baked-in” segment might slip through! If that happens, let us know.

We don’t have definitive launch date for the Poderation App just yet, but we know it’ll be available in the first few months of 2026!

We aren’t quite ready to show the Poderation App off to the world just yet (Sign up for the Waitlist using the form above to get the latest updates on our progress!), but when we are, the App will be available both on web browsers through the Poderation website and on your phone via the Apple/Google App Stores.
